Villa Cecilia is an old farmhouse dating back to before 1800. You will find it perched on a hill in the heart of the Valdichiana, about 4 km from Castiglion Fiorentino, a characteristic village where you will find shops, restaurants, supermarkets and all necessities.
The farmhouse has been recently and carefully restored under the careful guidance of the owners, who strongly wished to maintain its ancient origins and characteristics. The original terracotta tiled floors, the high ceilings with wooden beams, all coordinated with quality furnishings, with fine antiques, are a perfect match for the characteristics of the villa. You will feel a sense of warmth at the villa, you will feel welcomed and pampered, perfectly in harmony with your surroundings.
The history of the farmhouse is also fascinating. In ancient times, the Valdichiana was a swamp and before the land reclamation took place, its waters lapped the land of the property and just a few steps from the house there was a small harbour for boats that connected by water to the surrounding villages.
Today the villa is part of a farm that includes vineyards, cereal crops, farmyard animals and beautiful horses. About 1 km away, at the owners' residence, you will be able to enjoy the organic produce from their vegetable garden free of charge. Their paddocks, should you travel with your horses, will be at your disposal (service available for a fee).
Around the villa, you will enjoy a large, completely fenced green space perfect for your morning or evening walks even with your four-legged friends. Inside the park there is also a woodland path (approx. 500 m) where you can relax, walk and organise cool snacks.
For your days at home, there is a beautiful infinity swimming pool (size 6x12 m, depth 1.35 m - open from 01 May to 30 September), with a Roman staircase, a beautiful porch well equipped with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy a book or an aperitif in company, the barbecue for your cookouts and also games for your children. Just 4 km away is also the Arezzo Equestrian Centre where internationally renowned equestrian events are held throughout the year.
The beautiful panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 0.90-1.80 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) was built on a large green terrace, just a few metres from the house. In the completely enclosed garden, your children can play freely in absolute tranquillity in the shade of the olive trees and century-old trees, while you, by the side of the pool, can enjoy the sun while admiring the fantastic panorama of the valley below. At the back of the house you will have at your disposal, for dinners or lunches in the open air, a comfortable equipped area, wood-burning oven and barbecue, where you can enjoy your meals in company.

Podere Capanne is an old residence that has retained the characteristics and atmosphere of times gone by. The house is located just a few kilometres from Siena and Arezzo, and we certainly recommend a visit to both. Usciano is an ancient village of medieval origin, located a few kilometres from the city of Arezzo. It is located on a panoramic position, perched on a high hill, surrounded by olive groves and green woods of oak and holm-oak. The stone farmhouse and its two small houses date back to 1851, when the small village was inhabited by woodcutters, farmers and chestnut growers, the atmosphere alone will immediately take you back to those times.
The hamlet has been restored preserving its original features and using ancient materials such as terracotta, stone and old wooden beams. Even the furniture, functional and comfortable, has been chosen in respect of rural traditions.
Borgo di Usciano can be reached by an unpaved road through the woods of about 1.5 km, which is well maintained and suitable for all types of cars.
Only 2.5 km away is the village of Palazzo del Pero where you will find a couple of restaurants and some shops.
Only 9 km away is the city of Arezzo and its monuments, shops for shopping enthusiasts, supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of services. But we also recommend that you spend wonderful days discovering the old town centre, its narrow streets and the works of art by Piero della Francesca, Cimabue and Vasari, scattered throughout the city.
The outdoor area of Borgo di Usciano is divided into various panoramic terraces, and you'll be spoilt for choice whether to relax in the solarium by the beautiful infinity pool (size 7x14 m, depth 1-1.60 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), in the shade of a cool tree in the lower part of the garden, or climb the hill with a 360° panorama and a good book to keep you company.

Genesteld tussen de glooiende Toscaanse heuvels is Villa Le Tornaie een uitzonderlijke vakantiewoning gelegen op een werkend landbouwgoed dat zich toelegt op de productie van wijn en olijfolie. Gelegen in het hart van Italië, op korte afstand van Monte San Savino, biedt dit zorgvuldig gerestaureerde 15e-eeuwse pand een zeldzame combinatie van historisch karakter en modern comfort. Gebouwd rondom een centrale binnenplaats, is de villa verdeeld in 4 zelfstandige units, elk met onafhankelijke toegang, waardoor het een ideaal toevluchtsoord is voor grote groepen die zowel privacy als gezelligheid zoeken. Originele architectonische kenmerken zoals houten balkenplafonds en terracotta tegelvloeren worden zorgvuldig aangevuld met een mix van eigentijdse en traditionele landelijke meubels. Het pand beschikt over een royale tuin van ongeveer 2.000 m² gelegen binnen een groter landbouwgoed, met weids uitzicht over het omliggende landschap en bos. Buitenruimtes
De buitenruimtes van Villa Le Tornaie zijn net zo indrukwekkend als het interieur en bieden een verscheidenheid aan plekken om te ontspannen en te entertainen. In het hart van het pand ligt een geplaveide binnenplaats die alle 4 wooneenheden met elkaar verbindt en dient als de belangrijkste ontmoetingsruimte voor buitendiners. De binnenplaats is gemeubileerd en wordt beschaduwd door 2 parasols, en beschikt over zowel een barbecue als een traditionele houtgestookte oven, perfect voor maaltijden in de buitenlucht in het Toscaanse landschap. Het omliggende gazon wordt omzoomd door groenblijvende struiken en biedt prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels daarachter. Een pad leidt van de binnenplaats naar het zwembad, dat zich op ongeveer 80 meter afstand bevindt en ook bereikbaar is via een trap van 6 treden. Het onverwarmde zwembad is rechthoekig van vorm, meet 10 x 5 m en heeft een diepte variërend van 1,10 tot 1,50 m. Het beschikt over een PVC-bekleding, Romeinse treden voor gemakkelijke toegang, chloorbehandeling en interne verlichting. Een zonnedouche bevindt zich naast het zwembad, en het omliggende geplaveide zonneterras is uitgerust met ligbedden en parasols voor volledige ontspanning. Het zwembad is geopend vanaf de laatste zaterdag in april tot de eerste zaterdag in oktober. Houd er rekening mee dat de foto's van het pand in het voorjaar zijn genomen en daarom kan het uiterlijk van bloeiende planten en de kleur van het gazon afwijken op het moment van uw aankomst.
Indeling van de Accommodatie
Villa Le Tornaie is ingericht om maximaal 14 gasten te huisvesten, verdeeld over 7 slaapkamers en 9 badkamers, verspreid over 4 volledig onafhankelijke units. Twee units bevinden zich op de eerste verdieping, bereikbaar via buitentrappen vanaf de binnenplaats, terwijl de overige 2 units zich op de begane grond bevinden met directe toegang tot de binnenplaats. Unit 1, op de eerste verdieping, bestaat uit een woonkamer, een keuken met bijkeuken, een gastenbadkamer, 2 tweepersoonsslaapkamers met deelbare bedden elk met een en suite badkamer met douche, en 1 extra tweepersoonsslaapkamer met een en suite badkamer met douche. Er is een open haard aanwezig in deze unit, hoewel deze decoratief is. Unit 2, eveneens op de eerste verdieping, bestaat uit een woonkamer en 1 tweepersoonsslaapkamer met een en suite badkamer met douche. Unit 3, op de begane grond, omvat een woonkamer, 1 tweepersoonsslaapkamer met deelbare bedden en een aangrenzende badkamer met douche, en 1 tweepersoonsslaapkamer met een en suite badkamer met douche. Unit 4, op de begane grond, beschikt over een woonkamer van waaruit 4 treden leiden naar een tweepersoonsslaapkamer met een en suite badkamer met douche. Elke unit beschikt over zowel airconditioning als verwarming, wat een aangenaam binnenklimaat biedt ongeacht het seizoen. De privépatio en binnenplaats breiden de woonruimtes naar buiten uit en bieden extra ruimte om te ontspannen of in de buitenlucht te dineren. Een barbecue is beschikbaar voor buitenkoken, als aanvulling op de houtgestookte oven op de binnenplaats. Net voorbij de toegangspoort vinden gasten een overdekte buiteneetruimte in de schaduw van een grote parasol en uitgerust met een gasbarbecue, ideaal voor maaltijden in de buitenlucht. The Agriturismo Bevignano, at the centre of a thriving farm with 70 hectares of woodland and 1,200 silver olive trees, has ancient origins. They date back to 1600 when there was a monastery here, and you can still admire an ancient little church inside the property. This ancient village, located on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, nestled in the wooded hills north of Monte San Savino, still retains its architectural features that make it a place full of charm and history. You will feel as if catapulted into another century, in contact with nature and the simplicity of country life.
The town of Monte San Savino with its shops, supermarkets and services of all kinds is about 10 km away. The town also offers typical restaurants where you can enjoy the famous Chianina beef, Tuscan red wines and also excellent pizzas.
The property is divided into two stone buildings, which in turn are divided into four independent apartments. Casa Vana and Casa Linda and the house where the owners live are in the first farmhouse, and Casa Ghigo and Casa Gesuina are in the second farmhouse. Each apartment has an independent entrance and will have a private outdoor area equipped with table and chairs for your outdoor meals.
The owners, after a careful study of the origins and traditions of the place, have decided to keep the original core of the hamlet unaltered, enriching it with sober and essential finishes and furnishings, which will give you the opportunity to experience a holiday in contact with nature and the country lifestyle, together with the comforts of modern life.
The Agriturismo is located in an extremely scenic area, the view you will enjoy from your windows will remain etched in your memories for many years to come. In the farm's woods and olive groves it will be fantastic to take long, relaxing walks; if you love trekking, this is absolutely the place for you.
At your disposal, on hot summer days, is the large swimming pool (size 7x14 m. - depth 1.00-2.50 m. - open from 01 May to 30 September).
