Podere Marcigliano consists of 2 newly built villas, which nevertheless reflect the architectural characteristics of the farmhouses of the past. From the railway station in Castiglion Fiorentino it will be easy to travel by train for day trips to Florence, Rome and other interesting cities in central Italy.
We advise you to immerse yourself in the life of the small village, its shops, bars and restaurants; you will get a glimpse of country life that still harks back to ancient traditions and customs.

The first time it may seem a little challenging, but as soon as you arrive at your destination you will be rewarded with absolute peace, stunning views, unspoilt spaces and unforgettable sunsets. The place is your paradise if you are a nature lover, surrounded by cool green forests and inhabited by local wildlife. It is not difficult, on summer evenings, to come across friendly hares, porcupines, roe deer or fallow deer.
The small hamlet has a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (10x5 mt, depth 1.20-1.60 mt - open from 17 May to 27 September) completely fenced and with a Roman steps, which is about 100 metres from your house and in common use with the other guests. In the solarium you will have your own private area with 4 sun beds and a sun umbrella, where you can spend your lazy days by the pool. The house also has a private, shaded area with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals in the peace of the cobbled alley.

The little house, in our opinion, is ideal for couples, even with children; if you wish to get away from it all, it will become your favourite place, you will only be disturbed by birdsong, and in the morning you will wake up to a wonderful view to greet you. If you decide to spend your vacation at Fattoria Le Chianacce you will find yourself immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, between Arezzo and Siena, overlooking the Valdichiana hills that mark the border between the two provinces.
Le Chianacce farm was founded in the last century and was aimed at raising the prized beef and pork that has always been produced in this area. The owner wanted to recover a part of it, leaving it completely identical to the original construction and equipping it with simple and essential furnishings, which will bring you back to the warm atmospheres of times gone by.
Near the farm you will find the small village of Farneta with the eponymous Abbey of Romanesque origin, which is definitely worth a visit. Because of its strategic location, from the house you can easily reach all the most important art cities and tourist resorts of central Italy.
Only 7 km away you will find the characteristic town of Foiano della Chiana, with its red brick buildings, perched on a green hillock. In Foiano there are all the necessary services, restaurants and trattorias where you can enjoy typical dishes and local wines, supermarkets, stores, pharmacies. If you love shopping, a few kilometers away, you will also find the Valdichiana Village.
The Farm has six apartments, four of which are available to guests, and two inhabited by the owners. Galleria di Brolio is an old stone farmhouse whose origins date back to 1800, located between two of the most important towns of the Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano, and which is now part of the owners' farm. You will find the farmhouse just a few kilometres from the two towns and in both, as well as various monuments and sites of artistic interest that are definitely worth a visit, you will have shops, restaurants and all kinds of services. The small historic centres of the villages will be a pleasant destination for your aperitifs or dinners at the restaurant.
The farmhouse takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a conduit that is still in operation today and is located on the edge of the olive grove. The conduit is part of the canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the flow of water towards the Arno, planned by the engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
Galleria di Brolio is situated on the edge of a wood of about 20 hectares of oaks and pines used as a hunting reserve for the repopulation of animals; they live here in the utmost freedom and if you love wildlife you will frequently see hares and pheasants running in the olive grove, the vineyard and even in the house lawn.
On the ground floor there is the apartment where the owners live, as well as a cellar and a shed for the farm's agricultural tools, while the first floor is reserved for you. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable, enriched with local antiques, and blend in perfectly with the old features of the house. Not far away, on the other side of the wood, passes the railway line that connects central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Milan), so it will be easy to move around even without a car.
A few metres from the house, surrounded by silver olive trees, you will find a beautiful swimming pool completely fenced and for your exclusive use (size 11x5 m, depth 1.10-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), together with a gazebo equipped with garden furniture, which will allow you to shelter from the hot summer sun.
There is also a large pergola supplied with wrought iron furniture for eating outside, equipped with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven, for those evenings when you want to enjoy a pizza or a grill “al fresco”.
The owner, on request, will prepare excellent typical Tuscan dinners and pizzas in the wood-fired oven which, we are told by customers who have stayed at the house, are truly delicious.

Villa Vita Bella is een traditionele Toscaanse boerderij net buiten de stad Cortona in het hart van Italië. Het pand omvat 2 onafhankelijke appartementen met een gezamenlijke oppervlakte van meer dan 250 vierkante meter en biedt plaats aan gasten in een omgeving die authentiek landelijk karakter met modern comfort combineert. Het terrein beslaat meer dan 1 hectare fraai terrasvormig aangelegde grond met uitzicht op het Cortona-dal en de heuvels van Toscane en Umbrië.
Buitenruimtes
De buitenruimtes van Villa Vita Bella bestaan uit een reeks terrassen op verschillende niveaus, elk gericht op het Cortona-dal met ononderbroken uitzicht op de omringende heuvels. Het privézwembad is volledig omheind en voorzien van ligbedden en parasols. Naast het hoofdgebouw bevindt zich een verharde buitenruimte met tafel en stoelen, geschikt voor eten in de open lucht. Villa Vita Bella is onderverdeeld in 2 volledig onafhankelijke appartementen, elk met eigen ingang op de begane grond. Het pand is geregistreerd onder CIN IT051017C2U4O7Y8DJ. Gratis Wi-Fi is beschikbaar op het terrein. Een privéparkeerplaats biedt plaats aan maximaal 3 voertuigen. De eigenaar woont ongeveer 500 meter van de villa en gasten beschikken over volledig gebruik van het gehele terrein, inclusief het zwembad. Check-in is vanaf 15:00 uur, check-out uiterlijk 9:30 uur. Late check-in na 19:00 uur tot 23:30 uur is beschikbaar; check-in later dan 23:30 uur moet vooraf worden afgesproken en kan extra kosten met zich meebrengen. De minimale verblijfsduur is 1 week; tijdens het hoogseizoen lopen boekingen van zaterdag tot zaterdag. Indeling van de accommodatie
Het eerste appartement heeft een gezamenlijke oppervlakte van meer dan 250 vierkante meter en is verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen. Op de begane grond bevinden zich een woonkamer met zitmeubels, een eetkamer met tafel en stoelen, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een badkamer met douche. Op de eerste verdieping zijn 2 slaapkamers met 2-persoonsbedden en 1 slaapkamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden aanwezig, alsmede een grote badkamer met douche. Het tweede appartement is eveneens vanaf de begane grond toegankelijk en beschikt over een woonkamer, een grote volledig uitgeruste keuken met eettafel voor maximaal 10 personen en een badkamer met douche. Een wasruimte is op de begane grond aanwezig. Op de eerste verdieping bevinden zich 2 slaapkamers met 2-persoonsbedden en een tweede badkamer met douche.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust en beschikt over een vaatwasser. Airconditioning is inbegrepen in de huurprijs. Een wasmachine staat ter beschikking van de gasten. Satelliet-televisie is aanwezig. Wi-Fi is gratis beschikbaar.
Afstanden en bezienswaardigheden
Het centrum van Cortona ligt op ongeveer 1,5 km afstand en is bereikbaar te voet in ongeveer 15 minuten via een openbare tuin, of met de auto in minder dan 10 minuten. De stad Camucia bevindt zich op 5 km afstand en biedt volledige dagelijkse voorzieningen, waaronder grote supermarkten, een treinstation en tankstations.
Montepulciano ligt op 30 km afstand, het schilderachtige Lago Trasimeno op 25 km en de historische stad Arezzo op ongeveer 31 km. Het charmante stadje Pienza bevindt zich op 40 km van het pand. Perugia, waar zich een internationaal vliegveld bevindt, ligt op 50 km afstand. Accommodatie Villa Patrizia is een prachtige stenen woning (250 m2) met WiFi internet, air conditioning en privé zwembad. De woning is comfortabel geschikt voor max. 12 personen in vijf slaapkamers en vier badkamers.

Zodra u aankomt te Villa Patrizia vindt u een fraaie, schone en goed onderhouden woning met uitzicht over de bergen en de heuvels ideaal voor een geweldige vakantie in Toscane.
