Inchecken is mogelijk vanaf 16.00 uur, terwijl uitchecken uiterlijk om 9.00 uur op de dag van vertrek moet plaatsvinden. Een borgsom van 800 euro is vereist om uw reservering veilig te stellen. Houd er rekening mee dat huisdieren niet zijn toegestaan in deze accommodatie. Nutsvoorzieningen zoals water, elektriciteit en gas zijn inbegrepen in de huurprijs. Bij aankomst kan toeristenbelasting vereist zijn volgens de regelgeving van de lokale gemeente in Marciana Marina. Historisch gebouw onderverdeeld in 4 appartementen (waarvan een bewoond wordt door de eigenaar) en gelegen in het centrum van het middeleeuwse plaatsje Certaldo. De 3 appartementen die verhuurd worden zijn onlangs gerestaureerd en heel comfortabel. De gasten kunnen gebruik maken van een handige parkeerplaats op de binnenplaats van het gebouw (bij aankomst krijgen de gasten een vergunning waarmee men met de auto tot aan deze parkeerplaats kan rijden). Tijdens de maand juli (gedurende ong. 10 dagen) wordt in het oude centrum van Certaldo een karakteristiek feest gehouden (“Mercantia”): lokale artiesten en ambachtslieden presenteren hun werk tot laat in de avond. In deze periode is het niet mogelijk om met de auto bij de appartementen te komen.
Afstanden: het centrum van Certaldo Basso op 500 m (tevens te bereiken met de kabelbaan, elke 15 minuten, de rit duurt 1 minuut), de kabelbaan komt aan tegenover het dorpsplein, Piazza Boccaccio, en over de aangrenzende weg (via II Giugno met de belangrijkste winkels) komt men direct aan bij het treinstation (met treinen naar Florence, Siena en Rome), Florence 40 km, Siena 35 km, het beroemde stadje San Gimignano 9 km, Volterra 50 km, Pisa 55 km.

Villa Agrifogli is 1 km gelegen van Sassetta (Italië), en slechts 90 km van San Gimignano in de streek "Grosseto - Maremma". Villa Agrifogli is een mooie vakantiewoning met WiFi internet. The villa is set on a fully fenced plot of 10,000 sqm, which includes chestnut woodlands, fruit trees, hedges, and centuries-old olive trees. A dining area is located outside the living room, shaded by an umbrella and surrounded by lawn. A wisteria-covered pergola offers additional outdoor space. The driveway, lined with cypress trees, leads from the entrance gate to the garage and outdoor parking.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The 60 sqm infinity pool is located approximately 30 m from the villa, in a panoramic position with views of the valley and the castle. Rectangular in shape, it measures 12 x 6 m with a depth of 1.40 meters; lined with textured PVC; chlorine purification; Roman steps for access; internal and external lighting. The surrounding solarium is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a lounge area under a gazebo with climbing plants. Open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Interior:
The Grillo is made up of a single building divided into two residential not communicating units. The main one, after entering the door, leads into the living room with a sitting area, dining table and kitchen in the open space, from which the equipped porch is conveniently located. From the internal staircase you gain the first floor on which there are two double bedrooms served by two bathrooms with shower, one of which is en-suite. Through a large furnished veranda is the entrance of the second housing unit, located a few meters from the entrance of the main unit. It leads into a large living room connected with a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor (also reachable directly through an external staircase), which houses two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower, one of which is in the bedroom. The laundry room is located next to the portico of the main area.
Park:
The completely enclosed garden of the property, about 3000 sq m, surrounds the house. It is predominantly flat and covered mainly by lawn, along which are various areas for relaxing outdoors: a veranda, the portico for outdoor dining at the exit of the main kitchen (with the stone barbecue a few steps away), two gazebos with relaxation areas and, finally, the swimming pool in a central position. The entire perimeter of the garden is delimited by a young hedge providing privacy. The shaded parking area is located just after the entrance gate to the property.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October, is located in the centre of the garden and can be reached from the house, which is about 15 m away, across a path on the lawn. Measuring 5 x 12 m with a constant depth of 1.50 m, it is lined in light-coloured PVC, has chlorine purification, lighting and submerged steps for access to the water. The pool area, covered in terracotta paving and lawn, is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, little tables and a shower.

The 1,100 sq m park of Villa Irma is laid out in a revisited Baroque style, with large areas of lawn interspersed with sandstone, grit, and gravel paving. Majestic larches and cypresses provide generous natural shade, while viburnums, rose bushes, hydrangeas, and hibiscus add colour and fragrance throughout the seasons. A large Baroque fountain featuring horses and shells welcomes guests at the main entrance, and stone statues are thoughtfully integrated throughout the grounds, lending the garden an impressive and distinguished character. The entire property is fully enclosed: along the sides bordering neighbouring buildings, a perimeter wall is softened by bamboo plants and vines, while the sides facing the road and avenue are bordered by railings and hedges of young red robin photinias, typical of noble residences. From the road, an automatic entrance gate leads to a stabilised white gravel driveway connecting to the parking area. A separate pedestrian gate opens onto the tree-lined avenue that links the villa to the spa along a pleasant walk through the residential area of Cafaggio.
The swimming pool is situated on the same level as the ground floor, approximately 30 metres away, reached via the gravel driveway and lawn and then up a few stone steps. The living room, equipped with a Smart, Satellite, and Sky TV, features 3 independent exits into the garden, both on the fountain side and on the pool side, and leads through to the dining room, which in turn connects to the main kitchen. The main kitchen, designed for show cooking, is linked to the fully equipped auxiliary kitchen, which includes an American fridge and a pantry wall. The rooms on the ground floor are arranged in a circular path, allowing for easy and efficient circulation throughout the space.
The first floor is entirely dedicated to the sleeping area. Pozzonovo is an old farmhouse divided into 3 comfortable apartments and is the result of the skilful and careful renovation of a stone building. The three units have independent entrances and in the garden their own area equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrella and barbecue, perfect for enjoying your meals in the open air.
You will find the farmhouse immersed in the Valdichiana countryside and, at the same time, close to the village of Castiglion Fiorentino, which can be easily reached on foot with a walk of about 1.5 km. From the railway station in Castiglion Fiorentino it will be easy to travel by train for day trips to Florence, Rome and other interesting cities in central Italy.
We advise you to immerse yourself in the life of the small village, its shops, bars and restaurants; you will get a glimpse of country life that still harks back to ancient traditions and customs.
The stone walls, wooden and brick ceilings and simple but comfortable furnishings give the apartments a special charm. You will immediately feel at home, welcomed by a warm atmosphere and by Mrs Rita, the owner, who is always ready to assist her guests in times of need.

Galleria di Brolio is an old stone farmhouse whose origins date back to 1800, located between two of the most important towns of the Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano, and which is now part of the owners' farm. You will find the farmhouse just a few kilometres from the two towns and in both, as well as various monuments and sites of artistic interest that are definitely worth a visit, you will have shops, restaurants and all kinds of services. The small historic centres of the villages will be a pleasant destination for your aperitifs or dinners at the restaurant.
The farmhouse takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a conduit that is still in operation today and is located on the edge of the olive grove. The conduit is part of the canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the flow of water towards the Arno, planned by the engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
Galleria di Brolio is situated on the edge of a wood of about 20 hectares of oaks and pines used as a hunting reserve for the repopulation of animals; they live here in the utmost freedom and if you love wildlife you will frequently see hares and pheasants running in the olive grove, the vineyard and even in the house lawn.
On the ground floor there is the apartment where the owners live, as well as a cellar and a shed for the farm's agricultural tools, while the first floor is reserved for you. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable, enriched with local antiques, and blend in perfectly with the old features of the house. Not far away, on the other side of the wood, passes the railway line that connects central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Milan), so it will be easy to move around even without a car.
A few metres from the house, surrounded by silver olive trees, you will find a beautiful swimming pool completely fenced and for your exclusive use (size 11x5 m, depth 1.10-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), together with a gazebo equipped with garden furniture, which will allow you to shelter from the hot summer sun.
There is also a large pergola supplied with wrought iron furniture for eating outside, equipped with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven, for those evenings when you want to enjoy a pizza or a grill “al fresco”.
The owner, on request, will prepare excellent typical Tuscan dinners and pizzas in the wood-fired oven which, we are told by customers who have stayed at the house, are truly delicious.

The swimming pool, truly splendid, has the particularity of being shell-shaped (size 6.50x8.40 m - depth 1.30 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), and is just a few steps from the bright dining room, definitely one of the highlights of the villa. The dining room, with its large windows, offers not only a fantastic panorama but also the possibility of unforgettable dinners by the pool.
