Gunstig gelegen 10 km van Lucca (Italië) en slechts 17 km van Viareggio. Al Seminario is een fraaie stenen woning (350 m2) met privé zwembad en WiFi internet. De woning is comfortabel geschikt voor max. acht personen in vier slaapkamers en drie badkamers. In de nabij gelegen dorpen zijn er lokale winkels waar u verse producten en ander koopwaar kunt vinden.Als u het nodige niet direct in de buurt kan vinden, is er een winkelcentrum op 11 km vanaf de woning waar u boodschappen en het nodige kan aanschaffen.
Wat Staat U Te Wachten
Een prachtig kenmerk van dit huis is de pergola bedekt met blauwe regen, die zich uitstrekt langs de voorkant van het huis en is ingericht met tafel en stoelen, ideaal voor buitenmaaltijden. Vlak voor de pergola bevindt zich een mooi zwembad (met zout water) met stromend water dat op de meest panoramische plek op het landgoed is geïnstalleerd. De onverharde weg van 1 km is niet geschikt voor lage auto's.
Bij aankomst te Al Seminario vindt u een mooie, schone en goed onderhouden woning met uitzicht over de heuvels ideaal voor een rustige vakantie in Toscane. Hoe u de dagen ook doorbrengt - winkelen, met excursies, musea bezoek of rijdende door het prachtige landschap, zodra u thuis komt kunt u ontspannen samen met familie en vrienden bij het zwembad voor een perfecte afsluiting van nog weer een dag in Toscane. Een wasmachine ter plaatse voor de gasten bespaart kostbare tijd. Ook zijn er buiten beschikbaar een barbecue en terras. Als u van koken houdt is er een goed uitgeruste keuken met o.a. koffiezetapparaat, magnetron oven, broodrooster, fornuis en ijskast en natuurlijk voldoende servies en bestek voor tot acht personen. Als u liever buiten eet is er een patio waar u van het weer kan genieten terwijl u buiten eet.
Wat is er te doen in de Omgeving
De meeste mensen houden ervan om dorpen en steden in de buurt te bezichtigen terwijl ze op vakantie zijn, dus ter referentie een lijst van populaire plaatsen met de afstanden vanaf de woning: Viareggio 17 km, Pisa 23 km, Forte Dei Marmi 30 km, La Spezia 69 km en Portovenere 84 km. De snelweg ligt op 6 km vanaf de accommodatie en er is een treinstation op 5 km.
Als u de prachtige Toscaanse kust wilt bezoeken, is het maar een korte rijafstand naar de zee vanaf de accommodatie, slechts 19 km.
Een aantal andere belangrijke toeristische bestemmingen zijn: Florence 87 km, Viareggio 17 km, Forte Dei Marmi 30 km, Rome 369 km, Venetië 321 km en Milaan 273 km.

Huisdieren Welkom - Indien uw huisdier mee gaat op vakantie is dat geen probleem te Al Seminario. Indien u een grote hond heeft of meerdere huisdieren, vraag ons dan voor toestemming alvorens te reserveren.
Opening Zwembad: 4 Mei - 28 September (Als u wilt dat het zwembad geopend is buiten deze periode, vraag het ons dan alvorens u gaat reserveren).

To begin, there isn’t much I can add to the previous commenters. The house was great. A beautiful 200 year old, solid, well built stone house with a unique three level floor plan. And despite its age, I had no problems with any of it mechanical/electrical systems. The grounds were beautiful. Lovely olives, pines, cypresses and wild flowers everywhere and a pleasure to view. The views from the property were incredible. Lucca, Pisa, the Tyrrhenian Sea, Il Castello di Zozzano and a few charming villages can be seen from the property. And the pool was especially enjoyable. I’ve always found infinity pools to be particularly beautiful when built in an area with a good view. And this is certainly the case here. Whether doing laps and enjoying the views of the valley and hills or sitting and relaxing with a beer enjoying the forest and the watching the birds, the pool was my favorite place to be during my stay.
The owner is a great guy and easy to deal with. The house cleaner was very friendly and helpful and did a great job keeping the villa clean.
Now there are a few things, that although not negative, should be considered by a potential renter. First, the road to the house is a little intense. Not so bad when you get used to it but still a somewhat intense drive. I had six people and a somewhat large vehicle so had to go very slow for most of the road. However, it is a beautiful drive with impressive views that were enjoyable. I found that going to the Coop Super store on the western edge of Lucca to be a minimum 1.5 to 2.0 hour commitment. So plan accordingly and come well stocked with food and beverages.
This house is near many places worth visiting. The problem I had was wanting to leave the house. It truly is a private resort, a great place to unwind and get away from it all. Very quiet and peaceful. A few, but not many other people in the area. Was not bothered by anyone at all. Unfortunately can’t say that about touristy areas. I made it to Lucca and Pisa but had no desire to go anywhere else. One week at this villa is really not enough time. Just be careful if you go hiking at night in the dark. I think there might be wild boars in the area.
One last thing. When driving to the house for the first time, follow the instructions from the owner. Ultimately, be sure to to join the via di Compignano from the SS439. Joining the via di Compignano from the east on the SS439 is an awkward left hander that is easy to miss. Once on the road be sure to keep a look out for the landmarks that the owner mentions, such as the church and the walled cemetery. It is possible to join the via di Compignano from the other side of the mountain through the village of Balbano and my navigation took me this route. Unfortunately the via di Compignano is not continuous and it is impossible to get to the villa from this way. In my case I had to turn around and go around the mountain to join the via di Compignano off of the SS439. A nice waste of thirty minutes.
Anyway, I hope this was review is helpful. I certainly recommend and will someday return. It is especially great with families with children. Besides the pool and forest, my kids enjoyed the swing and the ping pong table.

It was really amazing. The pictures are true. The pool is big and there is an amazing view all amenities to cook and relax in the garden next to the pool. I definitely would recommend this place for families or for people looking for a quite place but with many things to do around by car.

Alles im allem wunderschön, wenn auch der Preis nicht unbedingt ein Schnäppchen.. Der Weg zum Haus ist in der Tat nichts für Weicheier (sehr steinig, eng), was sich dann auftut, ist aber ein Paradies. Der Pool und Garten ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern, das Haus selbst ist sehr rustikal, romantisch und gross. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, der Putzservice ist angenehm, die Besitzer/Betreuer sehr herzlich! Danke!

Although the first time driving the road was a bit unnerving for those of us from the States, it was a normal mountain Italian road that was extremely fun to drive. The view from the Villa were breathtaking. We were happy with everything and although it is located in a very remote area, we were no more than a 15 minute drive from a lot of fun things to do.

Beautiful spacious house with an even more beautiful infinity pool. Stunning views. To Lucca, Pisa and the sea! Nice garden furniture, lovely dining table under the wisteria pergola! In case of rain (which we unexpectedly had a lot) there is enough space inside but kitchen and TV room are a little small and dark. The access road is partly unpaved, very narrow and in poor condition. You need a sturdy car (preferably 4x4) and strong nerves. But after a exciting drive you will be rewarded with a GREAT place. We will come again!
