The apartment is unique, beautiful and obviously well maintained. All necessities are present and functional. Very comfortable bedrooms and very private from the rest of the house. Lovely private back yard with pool. The location is perfect in the centre of a quaint small village with a grocer, butcher, baker, 2 bars, and a fantastic restaurant. Could easily live here.
We had a perfect holiday in Il Fienile. The owner met us on arrival and was extremely warm and welcoming to us. He had no sooner left than I had a query and he returned within minutes to assist. During our five night stay we were treated to fresh eggs, freshly picked baby courgettes and salad leaves. So appreciated.
This is a lovely studio in the most exquisite garden setting. I took loads of photos to bring back ideas for my own garden.
We used the local train to visit Siena, Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Such a relief not to negotiate city traffic and none more than 50 minutes by train.
We will definitely return as we did not visit everything within our reach by any means and we want another taste of a perfect Tuscan retreat.
A really beautiful villa, it has everything you need and a glorious private garden as well for eating in the evenings. Benedetta and her mother Cristina are wonderful hosts, they are always there if you need anything and yet you have total privacy as well. It is also a great location for visiting Siena, Florence and many other beautiful towns and vineyards. Highly recommended.
Disappointing as the property appeared to be unfinished, ie light fittings missing, dark, untidy garden until the last day of stay. Felt they may have run out of money. Possibly suitable for family with young children

We had the best 10 days here at Villa Il Prato. We loved the swimming pool (especially Aino) playing boccia and table tennis and cooking & eating the italian food, while enjoying your Chinti wines!
We are definitely going to miss these relaxed days under the Tuscay sun after returning to our rainy and really cold Finland.

Casa Di Vignolo - Irene & her brother were excellent hosts and made us feel like family. She showed us around the village on arrival and also invited us into their home for a home cooking class which was a highlight of our trip. The villa was spacious and took you back in time but with some modern conveniences. Local wineries were excellent and we enjoyed excellent Tuscan wine. We wish we had booked for longer than the 3 day stay and were a little sad to leave.
This is a beautiful, spacious, well appointed villa with very professional looking interior decorating. It has lovely grounds and outdoor entertaining spaces. It is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Tuscany countryside.
Note that the Villa has 2 flights of steep steps with open stairwells which might prove problematic for some guests and for children.
