Casale il Trecento is a comfortable villa with a good balance between modern convenience and the authentic style of a 19th century farmhouse. It is said that in times past, the land adjacent to the villa was used as a shooting range. They aimed at marksmen from a distance of about 300 mt, hence the villa's characteristic name. There is also a very old, small cellar with a vault dating back to 1600. The villa is situated in a panoramic position 1.5 km from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino, which can be reached by a short walk. We recommend the walk to the village, without taking the car you can walk to one of the typical restaurants in the narrow streets of the village, or just go for a coffee at the bar or a fresh homemade ice cream.
You will for sure spend a happy holiday with family or friends at the farmhouse. Thanks to its location, Casale Il Trecento will make it easy to combine cultural trips to Arezzo, Siena and Florence with relaxing days around the beautiful private infinity pool (size 6 x 12 - depth 1.40 - open from 01st May to 30th September). All around the villa and the pool a large garden (approx. 16.000 m2) with century-old olive trees, completely fenced, where also your pets will feel at home.
Those who like to respect the environment will be happy to know that the house draws its drinking water from a well, so there is no need to buy heavy plastic bottles.
Another highlight of the villa, in our opinion, is the furnished panoramic terrace, which overlooks the hill from the living room. We are sure you will spend unforgettable evenings here in the night breeze, over a glass of good local wine.
The owner manages 3 other villas that share a private tennis court which is about 800 mt away from the house.

We had a wonderful holiday at Casale Il Trecento. The house is very large and spacious and the swimming pool is amazing. There is no air conditioning, so it can get a little hot, but this wasn't an issue for us. The house is well furnished and the kitchen is well equipped with all the basic needs but it's not luxurious in any way. This did not bother us, but may be an issue for other people. The gas boiler can play up at times, but very easily fixed and again this did not really affect our stay. Despite these minor issues, we felt at home there and we were quite happy to stay longer if we could. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by the owners, who were extremely friendly and helpful. The area itself is also gorgeous and the local town is only 5 minutes away and is well worth a visit. Overall a great holiday at a great place.

This is a beautiful villa with a lovely garden and great swimming pool. All rooms hve air conditioning which was great because we were there during a heat wave. There are several places, in and out of the sun, for eating s well as barbecue and pizz oven. The rooms re spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The villa is a2 minut drive from the village where you can find a good supermarket (Conad), a really good gelato shop (Mondo) and plenty of architecture in the old part of Castillion. Trains run from the Village to Arrezzo , and Corton is a 15 minute drive and well worth visiting. Carlotta, the owner, was brilliant and relly helpful. Her family make a relly good red wine plus olive oil both of which we bought to take home. I tried to upload more photos but it wouldn't let me even though they were of the right size. Pity, but the place was perfect for us
