Beschrijving

Accommodatie Contessa Di Gaiole is een mooie vakantieadres met WiFi internet en gedeeld zwembad. Contessa Di Gaiole is een villa met totaal vijf onafhankelijke appartementen. De woning is comfortabel geschikt voor max. 34 personen in 17 slaapkamers en 13 badkamers. Gunstig gelegen 7 km van Gaiole In Chianti (Italië), in de streek "Siena En Omgeving" en slechts 24 km van Greve In Chianti.

Wat Staat U Te Wachten
Zodra u aankomt vindt u een fijne, schone en goed onderhouden woning perfect voor een ontspannen vakantie in Toscane. Voor uw vermaak vindt u een zwembad waar u kunt ontspannen terwijl u geniet van een heerlijk koel drankje na een hectische dag musea bezoeken. Buiten zijn er ook een tennisbaan en barbecue. Veel mensen die samen reizen met vrienden verkiezen een vakantiehuis met meerdere appartementen waar ze samen de tijd door kunnen brengen in de gemeenschappelijk ruimtes zoals bijvoorbeeld het zwembad of de tuin, maar toch met eigen woonruimte met slaapkamer en badkamer. Daarnaast heeft ieder appartement een eigen keuken met genoeg keukengerei, servies en bestek.

We loved the Villa. The views are stunning and the location is convenient to many towns, but having a car is a must. The staff are so kind, helpful and want to make sure you enjoy the stay as much as possible. It is very convenient for bike riding in the area. We will stay here again.

Overall the place was very good, ideal to rest.
The actual appartement offered great volumes though kitchen and bathroom standards not in line with price.
Feedback was provided to manager in charge on site in that regard.

We had an amazing time, the villa is marvelous in a pictoresque surrounding of beautiful Tuscan region- peace , serenity, and beauty. Hele mooie villa in prachtige omgeving. Prima voor een rustige vakantie. Mooi ingerichte ruime kamers.
Wel 4km vanaf stadje Radda dus alleen met auto te bereiken.

This is a lovely old villa with an incredible view. It is not a luxury property -- the pool is not heated and they will charge you for things like extra towels -- but we were delighted with our stay. There are beautiful walks from the villa, vistas from every point, and a feeling of "le bon vie". It's worth coming, but do know that it's not a luxury resort.

The area is very beautiful but very very hot in August we had temps over 36 Deg C every day even over 40 Deg C .Lovely swimming pool .
The apartment was situated well for visiting Siena ,San Gimigiano and Florence, nearby village of Radda has lovely restaurants and several others in easy reach.

Schitterende villa, mooi tussen de bomen, met heerlijk uitzicht op de wijngaarden en Radda. Toscane en Chianti gebied zijn prachtig, en leuke plaatsen als San Gimignano en Siena zijn vlak bij. Behalve een zwembad en zitjes in de tuin is er niet zo veel te doen rondom het huis zelf.

Tuscany and Chianti area are beautiful and fun places like San Gimignano and Siena are near. Besides the swimming pool and sitting in the garden there is not so much to do around the house.

We stayed in the villa. It was like you were living in a novel. Owned by a former Italian prime minister and with some probably hugely expensive ornaments, pictures and other works of art, you feel the place is a treasure trove.

Thanks for your e mail.  It is very good to see that you follow up so well.  I am a hotel manager and appreciate such efforts - it is sadly not normal these days!!
 
The apartment was great and the standards of cleanliness were very good.  The views were stunning from the property.
 
To improve a holiday I would say that the objective of going to Tuscanny is more to be left alone rather than have commercialisation in the face.  However - my only criticism was the lack of promotion and opportunity to visit the cellars.  I was looking forward to seeing what was there and wanted to be told about the history and wine from the vineyards.
 
On 2 or 3 occasions I tried to get a visit, but there was no-one available to show us round on each occasion - so I gave up!!  (I don't look for hasssle on holiday)!  I found that the person who 'worked' in the shop was ok - she let us taste the wine - although I would say she was not at all enthusiastic, shame - as it is an easy sell and a great product),  we did end up buying some wine.  The missed opportunity for me was that I would have enjoyed seeing the cellars and so on - the missed opportunity for you is that - I would porobably have raved about it - told all my friends, and even sourced a supplier and put the wine onto my wine list!  Best form of advertising is word of mouth and the Villa has a seriously undersold USP.
 
The hotel I manage is the George Hotel in Edinburgh - 195 bedrooms / 2 restaurants etc - so this is a missed oppotunity.  However I would not want to detract from what was a great holiday in a wonderful Villa with good staff.  I would like to compliment Marie who seemed to work all day, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Our trip to Tuscany was everything we had hoped for. My family of 4 stayed
in 'Chiarra', at Villa Vistarenni, which was very spacious, considering my
husband and 2 adolescent boys are over 6' 6".

We had relatives from Scotland staying on the 3rd floor of the main
building, but they spent most of the time with us in Chiarra, as it was so
spacious and had a private area out the back for BBQ's.

Tuscany is a wonderful part of the world, relaxing, tranquil and a perfect
view at every turn. The local villages were a treat to visit. Booking a
holiday on the internet is always a little scary but in our case it all
worked very well.

I think the only thing I would like to mention would be more information is
required in the "Information booklet' found in the cottage, particularly
about the local area, where the shops are eg. Supermarkets, times that shops
close, emergency numbers, local doctor, police, ambulance and a phone number
for a contact person.

Tuscany was certainly the highlight of our trip from Australia.
