Genesteld in het adembenemende heuvellandschap van Cortona, een van de meest pittoreske en charmante steden van Toscane, is Vinciluna een waar juweeltje onder de vakantiewoningen dat een onvergetelijk verblijf in het hart van Italië belooft. Deze typisch Toscaanse boerderij, gebouwd in open natuursteen, straalt warmte en karakter uit en combineert rustieke authenticiteit met gezellige, goed ingerichte interieurs. Omringd door het zilverachtige gebladerte van eeuwenoude olijfbomen ligt het pand in de prachtige Val d'Esse, een historisch rijk gebied ten oosten van Cortona dat zich uitstrekt langs de gelijknamige rivier tot in Umbrië en kerken, archeologische vindplaatsen en renaissancevilla's omvat. De tuin, met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 1.500 vierkante meter, biedt een reeks uitnodigende buitenruimtes waar u in volledige privacy en sereniteit kunt ontspannen. Een panoramisch zwembad met uitzicht op het vredige groene landschap maakt dit idyllische decor compleet en garandeert momenten van pure ontspanning in een intieme sfeer. Buitenruimtes
De buitenruimtes van Vinciluna vormen een ware uitbreiding van het huis, zorgvuldig ontworpen om optimaal te profiteren van het omringende natuurlijke landschap. De tuin, begrensd door een brede uitgestrektheid van olijfbomen langs de toegangszijde en langs de gehele omtrek, wisselt grasvelden af met verharde oppervlakken, allemaal verfraaid met kleurrijke potplanten die een levendig accent aan het landschap toevoegen. Aan de achterzijde van de tuin, direct voor de grote openslaande deur, biedt een groot gemeubileerd terras een royale zit- en eethoek waar u in de open lucht kunt genieten van typisch Toscaanse lekkernijen. Vanaf dit terras leidt een korte trap naar een houten prieel met tafel en stoelen, gelegen bij het zwembad en geplaveid met terracotta, dat een charmante plek biedt voor maaltijden in de buitenlucht met uitzicht op het omringende landschap. Het onverwarmde rechthoekige zwembad, met afmetingen van 4 x 8 meter en een diepte variërend van 1,20 meter tot 1,80 meter, is bekleed met lichtgekleurd PVC en voorzien van een terracotta rand en Romeinse treden voor gemakkelijke toegang. Zuivering geschiedt door middel van chloor. Omlijst langs de omtrek door olijfbomen en gelegen op terrassen op ongeveer 15 meter van het huis, wordt het zwembad bereikt via een verhard pad of een korte trap. Het is geopend vanaf de laatste zaterdag in april tot de eerste zaterdag in oktober. Het zonneterras rondom het zwembad is uitgerust met ligbedden en een zonnedouche, waardoor een complete en ontspannende buitenruimte ontstaat. 2 onoverdekte parkeerplaatsen zijn beschikbaar bij de ingang van het pand, gunstig dicht bij het huis. Houd er rekening mee dat de foto's van het pand in het voorjaar zijn gemaakt en dat de bloei en de kleuren van het gazon daarom kunnen verschillen op het moment van uw aankomst.
Indeling van de Accommodatie
Vinciluna is een gelijkvloerse boerderij die comfortabel plaats biedt aan maximaal 4 gasten verdeeld over 2 goed ingerichte slaapkamers, alle bediend door 1 badkamer. De hoofdingang is via een openslaande deur die direct uitkomt in een gastvrije woonkamer met open haard en satelliet-tv. De woonkamer vloeit natuurlijk over in een rustieke keuken compleet met eettafel, waardoor een gezellige en functionele leefruimte ontstaat. Vanuit de woonkamer wordt het slaapgedeelte bereikt, bestaande uit een tweepersoonsslaapkamer en een slaapkamer met twee aparte bedden die aan elkaar gekoppeld kunnen worden. Beide slaapkamers hebben directe toegang tot de tuin, zodat u op elk moment naar buiten kunt stappen en van de natuurlijke omgeving kunt genieten. De enkele badkamer, uitgerust met een douche, bedient beide slaapkamers en is gunstig gepositioneerd binnen het slaapgedeelte.

Vinciluna maakt deel uit van een klein gehucht bestaande uit in totaal 3 huizen. De eigenaren wonen in een van de naburige huizen, gelegen op ongeveer 30 meter afstand, en zijn direct beschikbaar om u bij te staan met al uw behoeften, terwijl volledige privacy voor gasten volledig gegarandeerd is. Het pand verwelkomt huisdieren, en eventuele specifieke voorwaarden met betrekking tot dieren zijn verwerkt in de prijsstructuur. Wekelijkse verschoning van het linnengoed is inbegrepen in de huurprijs, samen met een initiële en eindschoonmaak. Het pand profiteert ook van de Zer0Dep Garantie, wat betekent dat u geen borgsom hoeft te betalen, noch bij het saldo noch bij aankomst. De huizen zijn kundig gerestaureerd en onderverdeeld in 10 comfortabele appartementen en smaakvol ingericht in typisch Toscaanse landelijke stijl.
Er is een grote tuin en elk appartement heeft een eigen zitplaats buiten. De gasten kunnen ontspannen bij het zwembad en genieten van het mooie panorama over de antieke stad Cortona.

De eigenaar woont op het terrein, maar zowel het zwembad als de tuin zijn voor exclusief gebruik van de gasten; alleen de parkeerplaats wordt gedeeld.

Drie mooie vrijstaande villa’s die rustig en hoog gelegen zijn in de buurt van het schilderachtige middeleeuwse stadje Cortona. De 3 huizen bieden een mooi uitzicht over de Chiana vallei en er is een gemeenschappelijk zwembad op een lager gelegen niveau.
De huizen zijn comfortabel ingericht en kunnen ook samen gehuurd worden om zo in totaal tot 10 slaapplaatsen te verkrijgen en alleen over het zwembad te beschikken. Ongeasfalteerde toegangsweg van 100 meter, in goede staat.

The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone alleys, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both about 15 km away and have all the necessary shops and services. Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. Don't forget to dine in one of the countless restaurants and trattorias in the historic centre; our advice is definitely local red wine and a nice Tagliata of Chianina beef!
Until a few years ago the house was the heart of a large farm, then a recent and careful renovation, which the owners carried out with love and care to keep the old features of the villa unaltered, transformed it into a cosy holiday home.
Still next to the house you will find the wine cellar where the owner produces excellent wine (Vino DOC Cortona), which you can taste for free during your holiday.
All around the house you will have at your disposal a large green area equipped with gazebo, table and chairs for your outdoor dinners in company, barbecue, games for children and shaded parking spaces. When you want to emerge from your refuge, about 5 km away you will find the villages of Mercatale, in Tuscany, and Lisciano Niccone, in Umbria. We recommend a day trip to the characteristic Cortona, which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
In the gazebo in the garden you can dine in front of the sunset; for your barbecues or pizzas in company there are also a barbecue and a wood-burning oven. The fence makes the house ideal for a holiday with your four-legged friends (extra charge could be required). For both of you there is plenty of space in the green and the possibility, for those who love trekking, of long walks along the numerous paths in the woods. The history of the farmhouse is also fascinating. In ancient times, the Valdichiana was a swamp and before the land reclamation took place, its waters lapped the land of the property and just a few steps from the house there was a small harbour for boats that connected by water to the surrounding villages.
Today the villa is part of a farm that includes vineyards, cereal crops, farmyard animals and beautiful horses. About 1 km away, at the owners' residence, you will be able to enjoy the organic produce from their vegetable garden free of charge.
