De Galleria degli Uffizi, het Palazzo Vecchio, de galerie voor moderne kunst, het Palazzo Davanzati, het Marino Marini-museum, het Galileo-museum, het natuurhistorisch museum en de botanische tuinen, bieden allemaal speciale rondleidingen en manieren om hun attracties toegankelijk te maken voor mensen met speciale behoeften. Daarnaast zijn er ook veel gidsen die speciale gepersonaliseerde rondleidingen door de instellingen aanbieden. Om dit alles het hoofd te bieden en te navigeren op smallere trottoirs, oneffen oppervlakken en meer, is er een speciale app gemaakt om de beste routes door het stadscentrum weer te geven, om de lastige architectonische barrières te vermijden.
