Borgo Monteluce is a charming country village with swimming pool set on a hilltop near the pretty town of Passignano sul Trasimeno on the shores of the lake Trasimeno, at the border of Tuscany and Umbria. The ancient farmhouse was beautifully restored and converted into seven charming apartments, stone built, with thick white-washed walls, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, carefully restored and beautifully furnished with traditional rural furnitures.
Borgo Monteluce is iseal for group of friends/families who like to spend a vacation all together. Each apartment is independent from the other even if part of the same country house so it is possible to share moments during the day beeing all together in the common areas such as the pool, the piazza, the big kitchen with the dining room,
the tv room..but at the same time you can have your own privacy in your unit.
At guests' disposal:
Next to the central yard, that we call Piazza of Monteluce, there is the big dining room where all the 25 guests can enjoy meals all together when not eating outside. Next to the dining room, there is lso a big kitchen available for our guests and a sitting room where they can relax and watch tv. 2 Toilets.

The beautiful yard with the stone made barbeque which is situated in the Piazza of Borgo Monteluce can be enjoyed by all the guests so as the swimming pool ( 12mx6m dwepth 1.20 open from 15 June to 15 September).

The Villa was wonderful. The privacy of the individual suites/apartments with the added benefits of the common dining/entertainment and kitchen areas was wonderful. Perfect for a family reunion. Access to the highways, as well the local region with the lake and townships was amazing. We enjoyed all aspects of the week. From Rome to Siena, to Florence and Perugia the logistics of getting to all the regions was easy. One area of improvement would be the pool lounge chairs. (3) of them were broken when we arrived, we tried to make them work, however it was not possible. So, we were short at times with the (20) people that we had. Not a big problem, just something to watch. Thank you for a wonderful visit..

Eine schöne Ferienanlage! Ich habe gemeinsam mit meiner Großfamilie (28 Personen, 4 Generationen) im Sommer 2013 2 Wochen in Borgo Monteluce verbracht. Die Anlage war wunderbar und sehr gut geeignet für gemeinsames Zusammensein(großes Außengelände,große Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen,Swimmingpool)Es gab aber auch genügend Privatsphäre und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für jede einzelne Kleinfamilie. So hat jede Wohnung einen separaten Außenbereich und auch eine kleine,etwas sparsam eingerichtete Küche.
Ein idealer Ort für eine größere Gruppe! Die Betreuung vor Ort war ausgezeichnet. Die Lage der Anlage ist perfekt, wunderbarer Blick auf den Lago Trasimeno!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A nice resort! I have spent 2 weeks with my extended family (28 people, 4 generations) in the summer of 2013 in Borgo Monteluce. The property was wonderful and very well suited for staying together (large outside area, great community facilities, swimming pool) but there was also plenty of privacy and retreat for each single family. Thus, each apartment has a separate outdoor area and also a small, somewhat sparingly furnished kitchen.
