Villa Carniani is a wonderful residence of ancient origins located just outside the city of Arezzo. Strategically located on a gentle hill, it is connected by roads that link Arezzo, which can be reached in less than five minutes, to the Valdichiana and Valtiberina valleys, rich in small villages and sites to visit.
Arezzo, in our opinion, is a town not to be missed. Enriched by works by Piero della Francesca, Giorgio Vasari, wonderful monuments such as the Duomo, the churches of San Domenico and Santa Maria della Pieve, museums, historical sites such as the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre, and a city centre surrounded by ancient walls and medieval gates. The centrepiece is the famous Piazza Grande, with its turreted medieval buildings and the Loggia Vasariana. Our advice is not to miss the opportunity for a cool aperitif in the paved piazza, plunged in history. In town, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and services of all kinds.
The villa, of very ancient origins, is still inhabited by the owners, who will be, although a discreet presence, always available for your needs. For the guests you will find 2 spacious and bright apartments, obtained from the old outbuildings where the stables, sheds and farmer's dwelling once were, all with independent entrances guaranteeing maximum privacy, tastefully furnished, with large amenities and fine antiques.
A large, completely fenced park surrounds the villa. Here you will find, in addition to the splendid infinity pool with waterfall (size 6x12 m, depth 1.50 m - for shared use - open from 01st May to 30th September), a large pergola with table, benches, barbecue and wood-burning oven, where you can spend your evenings in the open air, a play area for children and the vegetable garden at your complete disposal, where you can pick succulent seasonal vegetables.
Stone walls typical of Tuscan tradition, centuries-old trees with imposing foliage, small niches in which ancient statues dwell, flower beds coloured by bright blossoms, a stay at Villa Carniani will enrapture you and transport you to another era, leaving you with indelible memories and sensations.
