Mezzola

Beschrijving

Mezzola is a typical stone-built Tuscan farmhouse, located among vineyards, only 1 kilometre from Cerbaia and 18 kilometres from the centre of Florence. Until a few years ago, it was the home of the owner, an antique dealer, who restored and furnished it for family use. The interiors of the house are very comfortable and furnished with antiques. The living area is particularly spacious, with a big living room and kitchen, opening to a furnished courtyard where outdoor meals can be enjoyed. In the bedrooms on the first floor air conditioning is available at extra cost. The location of the house is ideal, not only for exploring the surrounding Chianti area, but being less than ten minutes from the two highways connecting Florence to Siena and Pisa, it is possible to visit these wonderful Tuscan cities in less than one hour’s drive. The housekeeper lives at the back of the house in a separate apartment.
