Great location for Florence, Siena, Pisa and in between. Paolo the owner is very helpful, and the villa and pool were lovely. In July we would have preferred air-con in the rooms, but all in all a great stay.
This is a lovely property, recently renovated to a very comfortable standard. It is roomy for two people, sufficient for four - and the fact that it has two excellent bathrooms and two kitchens (one very small, which I used as a study)also adds to its value.
The near neighbours are friendly and helpful, the views on both sides of the ridge are spectacular and the property is very well placed to benefit from the breeze rising from the valley over the hillside.
There are no shops in the village of Lucardo, but an excellent restaurant within 50 metres of the house, which served us all well. It has, however, been renamed the Osteria dell'Ignorante, which confused us a little whilst trying to find the property. I would certainly return to this property without any hesitation, and its equi-distance from Pisa and Florence offers a choice of airport.

We are very glad of spending time at Quiete. Beatiful place, very comfortable, nice garden. Special thanks to Emanuella, she was very helpful to us and she makes Tuscany more and more beautiful. We had wonderful time.
Perfect location, silence and privacy. Very suitable for 6 persons.
No negative comments. I would the owners suggest to improve as well the cooling as well the freezing capacity as the washing equipment.
Taking also into consideration the location and the time of the year the refrigerator and freezing equipment is insufficient. Washing machine is too old.
The villa and surrounds were wonderful ,clean , fresh. Very nice everything was first class. The owner could not have been more accommodating. A great venue for a holiday. There were two kitchens. We only used one for 17 of us. More than enough tables and chairs to go round very good. The pool was a god send. Sparkling clean, the surrounds shaded and cool truly lovely. All the bedrooms were used and were fresh and clean. With 17 people you need lots of bathrooms all the bathrooms were top notch. Words can not describe the amount of work Riccardo put in for us. Our problems were his, we would like to thank him once more. Words fail to describe the patience the villa specialist must have when dealing with someone who does not know the location of villas during the booking process Easy Reserve was very helpful. We would without hesitation recommend this villa, excellent service from day 1 thank you.

Casa Marconi is a very lovely and comfortable house. We enjoy really our holidays. A big advantage is that the house is in a higher region (approx. 500 meters) so that it is not so hot at summer nights.
The location is fantasic, up a winding dirt road but certainly drivable in a 2 wheel drive culminating with a fantastic view over the valley. The cottage is cosey but probably a little small for two couples which is what we had. The owners are thoroughly lovely & very welcoming. We accidently left some gifts in the rubbish, which the owners kindly retrieved from the bin (once we realised in Rome)and posted them back to us. A really relaxed place to chill out for a week.
Thanks for Podere La Marronaia, especially for Sylvia & Luigi that proved to be welcoming hosts. They make you feel like old friends. First Europeen trip where equilibrium between activities, confort and quality of food was meet. I would definitively recommend Podere La Marronaia to all my friends in seach of a bit of delight under "The Tuscan sun" !
Al Magrini is een schitterend en uiterst rustig gelegen vakantiehuis op de top van een Toscaanse heuvel tussen de olijf - en wijngaarden. De stilte, de natuur, het zwembad, de rust maken dit tot een ideale vakantieplaats.
Bovendien is de gastvrouw enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Magrini is a beautiful and very quiet house on top of a Tuscan hill between the olive - and vineyards. The silence, nature, swimming pool, the tranquility make it an ideal holiday destination.
Moreover, the hostess is very helpful and friendly.
