Vom 06.06.-10.06.2013 verbrachten 12 Mädels einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub in der Toskana.
Tenuta Mariani Al Crocicchio hieß unsere Unterkunft, Haus Bruna. Diese Ferienwohnung für 12 Personen war wunderschön, sehr liebevoll und geschmacklich eingerichtet.
Hanglage, sehr ruhig gelegen, Auto empfehlenswert!
Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl und heimisch.
Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich, geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Man kommt sich vor, als würde man sich schon länger kennen.
Vor Ort konnten wir bei den Eigentümer eine Weinbegehung und Weinprobe machen.
Die selbst zubereiteten Häppchen und der Wein waren sehr lecker!

Tenuta Mariani Al Crocicchio was the name of our accommodation, unit Bruna. This holiday home for 12 people was beautiful, very loving and tastefully furnished.
On a slope, very quiet, a car is recommended!
We felt comfortable and at home from the beginning.
The owner is very friendly, responds to all requests. It is as if you know eachother since a long time.
We did a wine tasting on the premises of the owner. The home-cooked appetizers and wine were very tasty!
Wonderful apartment for family of 4 or more! It was a great station for our summer vacation. Easy access to all points in Tuscany. Secluded and peaceful. Janusz is a great host.
Our family loved the apartment we stayed in and it was very clean and comfortable and decorated with antiques. The pool area and grounds were very beautiful, and next to an old castle that was over 1,000 years old. Our only issue was the walls of the building although thick, were only feet away from speeding vehicles all night long. It is no fault to the owner of the villa, but traffic should be redirected and not allowed to speed right next to the walls of their building.
Our family of for had a very relaxing stay renting the whole house. The place was clean and everything functioned beautifully. Even though it rained everyday for a couple of hours, we still enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the terrific views of the area.
The house is up a hill about a ten minute walk to the center of the village. The Thursday market is the best time to go in because the streets are closed to traffic and people are everywhere.
The owners are helpful, kind and responsive.
Wir waren mit unserem 19jährigen Sohn nach 1998 zum zweiten Mal im Casaccia. Uns hat es vor 15 Jahren so gut gefallen, dass wir uns noch einmal für einen vierzehntägigen Urlaub entschieden haben. Erstaunlich für uns war, dass wir Anfang Juni die einzigen Gäste waren. Fransesco der Verwalter und glaube ich auch der Inhaber, unterbreitete uns ein Angebot , nicht die gebuchte Wohnung im ersten Geschoss zu nehmen, sondern die fast so doppelt große Wohnung im Erdgeschoss. Wir verbrachten tolle 2 Wochen, in einem für das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis völlig angemessenem Rahmen. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge auf diesem höher gelegenem Plateau und ein immer sauberer Pool machten uns den Urlaub angenehm.
Very nice setting 40 mins from Pisa nice family on the farm with own wines and oils and grappa !. Taste the wines early on your stay to save buying from the supermarket. The pasta cooking class was enjoyed by my wife and children and tasted great. Nice pool area with steps at the end for little kids to get in and out. Make sure you tell Elisa the day before for things like steak night as we didn't and could not therefore join in. The village is a short walk and is a nice little village with a small square with a co-op for basics and a couple of small bars. For a quite night, this is the place ! Some very nice old towns nearby without he need to go all touristy to Volterra. Montecatina Val De Cecina was nice with a nice restaurant on the square. Enjoy.
This is a lovely villa and very well fitted out. It is pretty much how I imagined a Tuscan villa would be. The villa is situated high on a steep hillside, so giving excellent views of the valley in which Lucca and other towns / villages are located. The pool area is beautiful And also provides excellent valley views. Would have loved to stay longer than a week. The official description as being 7 kms from Lucca is correct but visitors need to be advised that a car is essential. There is some steep and procarious driving in the final approaches up the hillside to the villa My only criticism is having to find 1,000 Euros in cash for the bond to be paid on arrival. This is a lot of foreign currency to be left with at the end of your holiday for which we must pay the conversion fee. A credit card imprint would be a much better solution.
We enjoyed very much our stay in Gloria Forti's Villa in Casaglia. We spent a long time studying places until we found this lovely rural retreat near San Gimignano.
Well appointed (more suitable for 1 couple & perhaps a small family) we made great use of our basecamp, lovely pool & a great fire in the fireplace(even though it wasn't really required - it looked good).
Very close to all the places to see in Tuscany, Florence, Pisa, Siena, Certaldo, Montacino & Montepulciano amongst others... Thanks Gloria, we hope to see you again.
