Wunderbare historische Villa mit traumhaftem Blick in die Landschaft und teils sehr großzügigen Zimmern samt Bädern. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der uns am ersten Abend auch leckere Bütterkens in den Kühlschrank gestellt hat. Für uns im Vorfeld nicht klar war, dass man den Blubberpool einige Tage vorher bestellen soll, nicht erst bei Anreise. Wir hatten außerdem durch unsere Reservierung ein paar Extras inklusive, zum Beispiel eine Weinprobe. Wir hatten dafür eh keine Zeit und haben daher nicht dahingehend nachgefragt, wurden allerdings auch nicht darauf angesprochen. Das muss man also ggf. selbst in die Hand nehmen. Unterm Strich ein tolles Reiseziel!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A wonderful historic villa with stunning views of the countryside and some very spacious rooms and bathrooms. The landlord was very friendly, and he even put delicious butter cookies in the fridge for us on our first evening. We weren't aware that the bubble pool had to be booked a few days in advance, not just upon arrival. Our reservation also included a few extras, such as a wine tasting. We didn't have time for that anyway, so we didn't inquire, but we weren't even asked about it. So, you might have to ask for it yourself if you want to do that. All in all, a great travel destination!

La Vecchia Pieve is the most beautiful property! We were treated like royalty as we arrived with our names on a welcome sign. The check-in and communications was perfect. The home and grounds were immaculate! Sitting by the gorgeous pool in luxurious chairs overlooking the Tuscan valley was heavenly! Of our 3-week Italy trip and 5 VRBO's, this was BY FAR our favorite! We would highly recommend staying here and plan to return again!
Wir waren über zwei Wochen in Italien unterwergs und haben dort in 6 unterschiedlichen Appartments übernachtet. Die Zeit in Certaldo war wirklich sehr schön. Persönlicher Check-In, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant bei einem sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Da kommt man gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Wir wurden von Roberta und Ihrer Familie sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen und bietet einen unvergesslichen Urlaub mit wunderschönen Eindrücken. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt durch die authentische Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön und gepflegt. Der Pool war immer sauber und sah einladend aus. Die umliegenden Städte bieten viele Möglichkeiten zum bummeln, staunen und flanieren. Es gibt mit dem Auto viele gut erreichbare Supermärkte. Wir würden jedem empfehlen in dieser einzigartigen Unterkunft Urlaub zu machen.

The house is beautifully located and offers an unforgettable vacation with wonderful memories. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need; we loved the authentic decor. The garden is also very beautiful and well-maintained. The pool was always clean and looked inviting. The surrounding towns offer many opportunities for strolling, admiring the scenery, and taking a stroll. There are many supermarkets within easy reach by car. We would recommend this unique accommodation to everyone.
The Villa Pianoia was beautiful. It was perfect for our family of 7 adults, allowing enough space for all. The grounds are amazing and all rooms were well-equipped. Elena welcomed us and helped us out throughout the week - such great hospitality. We had an amazing dinner prepared by Daniele on our first night that set the tone for a pleasurable week. Thank you!
