Uitstekend 5 /5we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ardene. The staff were wonderful the location superb.We suggest you have them cook at least one dinner for you. Great!. The villa was a little hard to find but once there was amazingly close to Montpulciano, a wonderful hillside town. The location was close enough to a train station to get to Florence for the day. Close to other unique towns. Only comment I have is that we used up the last week before high season and the grass was not mowed until the Thursday of our stay. It just felt like they were preparing for the big money people. There were 8 of us in the group who eventually went there so we had more rooms than we needed but for 10-14 it would have been just right! There is a little grocery store a short distance from the villa that provided all the basics we needed and plenty of shops for the rest.
