Wir fanden die Lage sehr gut, mit Blick auf die wunderschöne skiline von SanGimignano. An der Ausstattung haben wir zu bemängeln, dass es in dieser Wohnung keine Fliegengitter und keine Klimaanlage gibt.Wir waren im August und wurden von Schnaken aufgefressen. Die Fenster musste man öffnen, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war. In der Küche haben wir bemängelt, dass nicht wenigstens die Gewürze vorrätig waren (Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker....) Wir mussten zunächst alles kaufen, von Clopapier, Spülmaschinentabs, Gewürzen) Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr ist minimalistisch und auf das Notwendigste beschränkt. Obwohl hier Wein produziert wird, gab es nicht einmal richtige Weingläser. Wir waren in der großen Wohnung zu zweit, daher konnten wir den Schrank im Wohnzimmer mitnutzen (gedacht für 3.u.4. Person). Der Schlafzimmerschrank ist für die Wäsche viel zu klein.In der Nacht hatten wir ständiges Hundegebell von Nachbarhunden. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster also unmöglich wegen Schnaken und Lärm. Fenster öffnen ist aber wegen fehlender Klimaanlage absolut notwendig. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und entspannend, aber hier auch extrem das Schnakenproblem (Autan ist Pflicht). Was fehlt ist ein Backofen, leider nur Micro -allerdings mit Grillfunktion-vorhanden. Personal ist sehr freundlich, wenn es da ist, die Rezeption ist nur vormittags besetzt. Aber das war kein Problem. Waschmaschine ist vorhanden.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We found the location very good, overlooking the beautiful skiline of San Gimignano. About the amenities we have to complain that there are no mosquito-nets and no air conditioning in this apartment. We were there in August and were devoured by mosquitoes. The windows had to be open, as there was no air conditioning available.
In the kitchen we have complained that not even the spices (salt, pepper, sugar...) were available, we had to buy everything from toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, spices. The equipment with dishes is minimalistic and limited to the essentials.
Although wine is produced, there were not even proper wine glasses. We stayed in the large apartment for two, so we were able to use the wardrobe in the living room (designed for 3.u.4. Person) being the wardrobe in the bedroom too small.
In the night we had constant barking of neighborhood dogs. Sleeping with the open windows was impossible because of mosquitos and noise.
The pool area is very nice and relaxing, but also here the problem with mosquitos is extreme (Autan is mandatory). We missed an oven, unfortunately we had only microwave, however with grill. The Staff is very friendly, even if the reception is only open in the mornings. But that was no problem.
