We traveled to Volpaia and stayed at Pozza in May of this year. It was our second time to stay at this lovely villa. The baths and bedrooms have been renovated since our first stay in 2018. We were a group of nine and our visit was excellent. The house is somewhat secluded from the hamlet of Volpaia but there are two or three restaurants within a couple of hundred yards walking distance. We were fortunate to have Donika agree to cook for us for five of seven day visit. Her meals were more than enough reason to stay there. All I can say is that the villa and grounds were fantastic. The views from the pool area were wonderful. We're already planning a return.

Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist leider sehr beschwerlich, dafür ist der Ausblick und ser gesamte Aussenbereich wunderschön.

Had a fabulous holiday in the villa. It was exactly as described and more spacious than we anticipated. We really enjoyed the table tennis table and pool table., we were a multi generational family, and the villa appealed to all. It was a good base, not far from the airport, Varrgio and Luca. There was also a fabulous coffee shop, which served amazing pastries,, which we walked to everyday. The walk is not for the faint hearted, as quite steep path up to the villa, but you soon get used to it. The host was amazing, and was quick to respond with any questions, and sorted out any issues. Would definitely recommend this property.

This is a lovely villa with expansive property and endless charm. We loved the decor, the original aspects of the historical place, cooking in the kitchen (especially with a dishwasher), and the ample space for a large group. Our only complaints were that the mattresses were uncomfortable, the doors squeaked loudly during the night, and laundry took very long to dry (it rained, so we could not put them outside). Eating antipasti with fresh baked bread by the pool and only hearing birds and church bells more than made up for any discomfort.
