This was our first trip to Italy and we took a chance on this location! This villa was amazing! Our party of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay. Spacious, comfortable, authentic Tuscany style and beautiful vistas from every location. The caretakers, Raphael and Marinella made everything comfortable and helped with everything from directions to recommendations! Marinella is a fabulous chef (better than any restaurant we tried!) and having dinner cooked for you at night is the ultimate in luxury! We even had a visit by the owner of the villa! He is a gem! We have nothing but positive comments about this villa and our stay. Make sure you rent an All Wheel Drive vehicle, as the access road is dirt and pretty bumpy! But it was worth it!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa una settimana ad agosto. Il giardino recintato è stato prezioso per il nostro cane, mentre la piscina abbastanza grande ci ha fatto godere momenti di relax. La casa è piuttosto isolata. Si possono fare belle passeggiate sfruttando la strada non asfaltata che conduce alla casa. Ideale per chi vuole vivere momenti di relax in mezzo alla natura e lontano dai grandi centri abitati.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We stayed in this house one week in August. The fenced garden was invaluable to our dog, while the fairly large pool made us enjoy moments of relaxation. The house is rather isolated. You can take beautiful walks using the unpaved road that leads to the house. Ideal for those who want to experience moments of relaxation in the middle of nature and away from the towns.

We had a great time at Villa le Caggia - 10 grown ups and 4 teenagers. The villa is a little away from everything, so it is important to have a car, to plan what you want to do and to do the shopping for several days. Alle the people running the place are very friendly and serviceminded - and we can certainly recommend them doing the dinnner one or more of the days you are at the villa:)
