Ein wunderschönes Haus mit großem gepflegten Garten, Rutsche und Hängematte. Von den vorhandenen Fahrrädern sollte man allerdings nicht allzuviel erwarten. Die Betten sind bequem und in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man als Selbstverpfleger benötigt. Die Eigentümer wohnen und arbeiten nebenan und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl sie ausschließlich italienisch sprechen, war eine Kommunikation, im Zweifelsfall über eine dritte Person, möglich. Man sollte auf keinen Fall vergessen ein Anti Mücken Spray mitzunehmen, da Diese durch den benachbarten Kanal unvermeidbar da sind. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Ein zauberhaftes sauberes geräumiges Haus. Der Garten ist fast ein Park in dem man im Schatten oder in der Sonne liegen oder spielen kann und im Pool planschen. Ambra ist ein lebendiger sympathischer Ort, wo man alle nötigen Dinge fürs tägliche Leben bekommt. Man kann Spaziergänge vom Haus direkt unternehmen (gut für Urlaub mit Hund). Es gibt viele schöne Orte in der äheren Umgebung und natürlich Siena und Florenz. Wir fanden es schön und würden es jederzeit weiter empfehlen [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A lovely clean spacious house. The garden is almost a park where you can lie or play in the shade or in the sun and splash around in the pool. Ambra is a lively, friendly place where you can get all the things you need for everyday life. You can take walks directly from the house (good for holidays with dogs). There are many beautiful places in the surrounding area and of course Siena and Florence. We thought it was nice and would recommend it at any time

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay at La Casetta very much. The owner was extremely helpful and happy to recommend places to go, things to see and good restaurants.

Definitely excellent. Right in the old town. The old town is quietly touristy (?) so makes for a wonderful relaxing special stay. The apartment we had had fabulous views over the main town and out to the countryside. It was well-appointed, clean and very well presented and our host, Jane, was very welcoming, friendly and considerate (as were her family). Parking was no problem at all. We felt very special driving through the gates each day. Negatives? I'd say it's a functional place to be, you can't really relax and enjoy the view, the sofa bed is much more a bed than a sofa. There are also quite a few stairs so if you're not good with stairs you'll probably find it difficult. Big plus? Access to the tower where you can enjoy the view across the old town, new town and the countryside, even San Gimignano on the horizon.
