The view was breathtaking and the owners are wonderful and very friendly. We travelled with our 2 year old son and were made to feel very welcome and at home. It is a convenient, lovely location and we hope to come and stay again one day.

What a delightful place to stay and experience the Tuscan countryside. The view from our terrace was heavenly. Elena was a perfect host and without being too intrusive, helped us with inquiries throughout our stay. The accommodation was clean, well equiped for our needs and wants. I would return without hesitation.
The only confusion was the initial directions given by the agency. The property is listed as Borgo de castagno, however the name on the wall of the entry driveway, is Borgo Elena. Also, the first place we booked through easy reserve had the wrong pictures and when we were informed of their error, we had to wait a long time for a reply to change, which eventualy came through another country agency. None of this was the fault of the actual property, but the agency.

l'endroit est très bien, par contre les frais de 60 euros pour le nettoyage sont exagérés car la propreté laissait à désirer. Les ustensiles étaient pour la plupart sales, et les draps étaient humides car la maison n'avait pas été aéré.

This was a lovely setting for a Tuscany holiday. The villa was attractive and clean and fully equipped. The views over San Gimignano were spectacular. Marco and Sylvia were very welcoming and always willing to provide advice and assitance. Access to the vegetable garden for tomatoes and basil and leeks and more helped produce some great cheap meals. The location was very good as a base for visiting all the famous towns and cities in Tuscany.

We enjoyed our stay at this villa. The owner was very friendly bringing us freshly squeezed olive oil, basil, and fresh tomatoes from her garden. This is a 3 bedroom villa with two king beds. The problem with one of the king room is that it is up a spiral stairs with no bathroom. This room is only for the young but not kids. One of the bathrooms was quite large but the other one small. The villa has a washing machine but no dryer which is common for Italy. We enjoyed this villa and definitely would recommend it to others.
