Villa 9 at San Leo - Limonaya - was just perfect for our trip to the Chianti hills of Tuscany. It's a beautifully converted barn originally used to store lemon trees (hence the name) sited closely to the main, beautifully restored villa, and in the gorgeous green grounds of this former farmstead. Patricia provided a very warm welcome and was very helpful and attentive when we needed her. Despite several other couples and a few families staying the villa was incredibly quiet and very secluded. It was a nice easy drive to the nearest town for shopping, but a bit more of a haul to Florence, and certainly a long journey to Sienna. I wouldn't hesitate recommending San Leo to anyone and we will definitely try and return with friends. A great find

We had a memorable holiday here - watching the fireflies in the olive groves was fantastic, and it was just a lovely peaceful place to be. Volterra is easy to get to and great to wander around.

There is no better place to stay for a large family or group than this property. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The 800 year old home has everything you need. Wonderful views, great pool, large bath rooms and great kitchen. The only complaint is the road leading to the villa. The owner needs to spend some $$ and fix the 2 sharp up hill curves. Maybe partial pavement in these two areas. But all in all great house in a great area of Tuscany!!

Wir genossen unseren Urlaub im unserem Domizil La Mirandola. Unser Ferienhaus im toskanischen Stil, sowie der Poolbereich sind sehr gepflegt und mit Herz geschaffen. Als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge eignet sich dieses Feriendomizil hervorragend. Danke auch der Besitzerfamilie für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We enjoyed our holiday in our rental La Mirandola. This Tuscan style holiday house and the pool area are well maintained and made with heart. As a starting point for many excursions this holiday home is excellent. Thanks also to the owner's family for their hospitality.
