The villa was perfect for our group of 16 people. Richardo was fantastic and was available whenever we needed him. We had their breakfast one morning and the group dinner by request. The wine tasting was very informative and tasty and it was amazing being on property during harvest season. We were able to watch a vineyard at work. I will definately recommend this villa to friends...but highly recommend you get the GPS system with any rental cars, because all villas are slightly difficult to find the first time. Thanks again, it was fantastic!

We enjoyed our week at Olivanda and found the owners very pleasant and helpful. The villa is a good size and is in a superb location. It is perfect as a base to explore Tuscany and we visited Florence, Lucca, Montecatini and Sienna and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

There were 3 negative points: 1. the swimming pool had not been cleaned on our arrival - nor was any attempt to do so during our stay. (Possibly this was partly our fault as we generally went out each day and didn't specifically request that it be cleaned). 2. The owners' dogs did keep us awake at night! 3. There was a faulty door to the dining area which meant we couldn't leave it open or go through it, so we had to keep going the long way round!

All in all - though - we had a really enjoyable stay

Had difficulty with the key. The door would not lock and had to wait for the host to find a solution. Took quite a bit of timeout of our first night in Florence
