Beautiful place! Overall it is 4 stars because even though the room was nice and very clean, the castle itself is not super well maintained, I wonder if it is because of COVID. So for example I thought there would be a restaurant open also in the morning for breakfast, but it wasn’t the case, which is a pitty not to take advantage of the beautiful terrace and not being able to have a cappuccino :) Aside from this aspect it was anyway worth it! The area is simply splendid and we booked ebikes for 2 days, which was a great way to really experience the Tuscan hills and the area around. It is a bit far from Florence, so take that into account if you are planning to go on a day trip to the city, however there is anyway a bus that you can take! All in all I would return there with pleasure!

Cercavamo relax e natura…abbiamo trovato un luogo incantevole. Un casale bellissimo, spazi all’aperto ampissimi, barbecue e forno a legna, totale privacy e una piscina deliziosa ci hanno accolti e ci hanno donato una settimana meravigliosa.

Die Villa und die Lage sind wunderschön. Wir wurden sehr gut vor Ort betreut.
In der Küche könnte verschiedenes ergänzt resp. ersetzt werden, z.B. Lasagne-Form, Gemüserüster, neue Bratpfannen etc.
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Vielen Dank!

Details Recensie:
overall good but a lot of details that lower the note. The photos in the suite are to the advantage of the Villa but do not quite reflect the reality. The villa and its exteriors lack maintenance, the smell of dampness prevented us from using the downstairs bedroom. Wifi isn't really one, almost impossible to surf the internet when we don't have a network. Also, the description for a partially fenced property was incorrect, which justified our choice. Beautiful swimming pool, really quiet place therefore to be taken into consideration according to the criteria sought. Special mention for our agent on site that was very attentive.
