Details Recensie:
The Villa was wonderful. It is in a great location and accomadated 10 couples wonderfully. The kitchen is small so would not advise booking a cooking class, it was a lot of money just to have someone come cook for you, there was no room to participate. We had some issue with wasps and yellow jacket out by the pool area. The views from the Villa are increditable!!! The Owners Ricardo and Sheri and the care taker Patrick were wonderful. Patrick puts together tours and we spent a couple days touring around with him and had a great time. The villa is about 20 min from Siena and about 45 from Florence. It was good to have a car as it is a little remote but in a really great location. I would recomment this Villa to my friends.

Great location to explore nearby cities (1 hr30 min drive to Cortona,Assisi,Gubbio just to name it few.Car is essential,Great swimming pool little cold in the morning but perfect in the afternoons,there is a barbecue and whatever you may need you should ask the owner she is just great

Details Recensie:
We loved our time in Lucca and especially loved the apartment. It is newly decorated so it was modern, clean with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. I think the apartment had the best location in town overlooking restaurants and shops in the amphitheatre below. Bruno the owner was so helpful and really made us feel welcome and provided us with map and he gave us advice on where and what to do in Lucca. Photo below of us looking out of apartment window.

Es war eine tolle Zeit in dieser Gegend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Anlage buchen. Saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnungen. Die Anlage ist kindgerecht zum Spielen erbaut und sehr gepflegt. Man kann nur + Punkte erteilen. Schöner Pool.
Das einzige was ein bisschen gefehlt hat, sind Kleinigkeiten wir Flyer wo mann den Müll wegbringt ( Zentral im Ort ), Bedienung der Klimaanlage war nur nur Italienisch. Kontakt zum Eigentümer ist sehr verhalten aber trotzdem ok. Man sollte keinen Hotelservice erwarten.
Trotzdem Note 1-2.
Die Gegend ist ein Traum. Zum Wandern , Baden ( Strand ca. 30 min entfernt ). Selbst Segeln und Paragleiter fliegen ist diese Gegend ein Eldorado.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a great time in this area. We would book this accommodation again at any time. Clean and well equipped apartments. The location is suitable for children to play and very well maintained. One can only give + points. Nice pool.
The only thing that was missing a little, was some information on how to dispose of the garbage (in the centre of the village),and the manual for the air conditioning was only in Italian language. There is little contact with the owner but still ok. One should not expect any hotel services.
The area is a dream. For hiking, swimming (beach about 30 minutes away). Even sailing and paragliding, this area is a paradise.

Il Borghetto is one of the most remarkable and beautiful places in Italy. The villa is nestled on a hill near the medieval city of San Gimignano. It is surrounded by vineyards and overlooks the magnificent Tuscan country side. The villa is a perfect vacation spot for individuals who are simply looking for a place to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet or for individuals who want to enjoy the Italy countryside while having the ability to see the major attractions, such as Florence, Pisa, Volterra and Siena.

The owners and staff of Il Borghetto are extremely accommodating and welcoming to all of their guests. They are readily available to answer any questions the guests may have, and have written information readily available about all main attractions, tours, and events. The owners take pride in ensuring that the Il Borghetto does not feel like a “hotel” but feels more like home, and it works.

Our stay at Il Borghetto was the best vacation we have had, and we have had the opportunity to vacation throughout Europe and Italy. We would highly recommend Il Borghetto to anyone and cannot wait to return soon.
