[Owner reply: We have made many improvements and upgrades (including new sofas and chairs covers and replaced the linen) that could not be done during the rental season and the villa is now really in good condition.] We loved the exterior of the property, that is the pool deck area and the garden around it. It was the only real feature that this property had to offer. The property is lacking in many ways. The kitchen appliances were very old, bits and pieces of old coffee makers which we had to look for and put together. The toaster was difficult to use and old as well. The stove was very difficult to start and sometimes impossible. The house had a mouldy smell, inside the cupboards and drawers and from the main level to the basement. The BBQ could hardly be called a BBQ. There was a pit with an old rusted grill on it.We were dissappointed with the interior of this property. The sofa cushions were filthy. For the price we were charged for this property we would not recommend it unless the owners upgraded the interior of this villa. All windows did not have any screens on them and the mosquitoes are very bad at night so we had to close all windows at night and sleep in boiling weather since there is no air conditioning in this house.Also, the road getting to the villa is very narrow located on a very steep hill and not easily accessible. It really took some getting used to. The other thing we didn't like so much is that the caretaker for this property would show up alll the time unannounced sometimes in the early morning when we were preparing to have a swim he was there cleaning the pool without our knowledge of it. We felt his unannounced daily visits were an infringement of our privacy.

Details Recensie:
We stayed at Montegufoni 4 for 5 nights in July and used it as a base to see all of Tuscany. I would say that it was an excellent location close to most of th cities we stayed. We went to Siena, San G., Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Montelpulciano. The location was great to visit all those locales. The people at the castle were friendly and very helpful and the restaurant on site served up great food with a great view. There was even a great restaurant at a small town less than 1.5 km walk from the castle. The rooms were big and comfortable too.

The only main complaint that I had is they make too much noise picking up the garbage too early in the morning and the pool was super chlorinated. (great pool but bring gogles for the kids) [Owner reply - due to the high temperatures during this period the chlorine levels needed to be raised to maintain the water quality. The garbage pickup times are regulated by the town, we have asked them to change the schedule but we have to wait to see if they accept our request.]

As you can see all and all a great place, good value for the money and I would recomend this location to anyone.

Enchanting villa in Tuscany! One of the best holiday's we've ever had because we were living under the Tuscan sun. Remote, quiet. Owners had the place spotless and it looked exactly like the pictures. Would definitely recommend this one.

Casale Rosanna turned out to be perfect for us. The villa was beautiful, with the most amazing views of the Chianthi countryside. It was absolutely blissful to sit under the umbrella at sunset and relax. Our children made good use of the pool each evening upon returning 'home' from a busy day of exploring. It is a great location to visit places like Siena, Pisa and Florence.
The villa is very comfortable with a lively rustic feel to it and offers all the modern conveniences.
The owners Dante and Rosanna were absolutely lovely and made us feel most welcome.
We would love to come back here.

Le rondini kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Tolle große Küche, genügend Kühlschränke und ein super gepflegter Pool.
Das Anwesen ist sehr groß und sehr gepflegt.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We can definitely recommend Le Rondini. Great big kitchen, plenty of refrigerators and a super well-kept pool. The property is very large and very well maintained.
