Nieuwe Recensie ingezonden voor Le Rondini gelegen in San Miniato Basso, Toscane, Italië.

Das Haus entsprach völlig unseren Erwartungen. Schöne Zimmer und Bäder, große Küche mit guter Ausstattung, Schönes Esszimmer, Wohnraum mit gemütlicher Sitzgelegenheit und tollem offenen Kamin (der auch wirklich gut funktioniert)!!!!
Der Pool ist wunderschön angelegt, mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Auch die ganze Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt, der "Poolboy" kommt regelmäßig und säubert den Pool. Für das Haus kommen 3x in der Woche 2 Putzhilfen und bringen wieder Ordnung in die Schlafräume und Bäder. Die Handtücher werden jedesmal gewechselt, die Betten gemacht, die Bäder geputzt, die Küche und Wohnräume gefegt,........und sogar der Müll wird entsorgt.
Erika ist sehr hilfsbereit und die Verständigung klappt sehr gut in englisch und natürlich italienisch. Bei Fragen oder Problemen einfach kurz eine SMS an Erika senden, Sie kümmert sich schnell darum.
Lage des Hauses schön im Grünen gelegen, bis ins
Dorf Montopoli sind es ca. 25 min. Zu Fuß.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nähernden Umgebung,
Penny, Lidl, Coop, ......
Ausflüge nach Pisa,Florenz in ca. 40min. Erreichbar.
Es waren 2 wunderschöne, erholsame Ferienwochen die wir dort in den Pfingstferien 2013 verbringen konnten. Mille, Mille Grazie an Erika

The owners Lucia and Gabrielle made us feel very welcome during our stay. They explained where everything was, how to work everything, and couldn’t reiterate enough that if we needed anything at all, just knock on their door and they would be happy to help. The house was very clean and tidy. My brother Daniel even went around Gabrielle and Lucia’s to use their WI-FI connection to do a Skype interview for a job!!
We travelled to Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, and Siena which were all amazing days out, and all within 1 hour away. We even fit in two days lazing by the pool. Lucia cooked an amazing meal for my mum’s birthday. We had so much left we had it the night after too. Lucia had some more left so she even brought that around and told us how to make it ourselves! The wine was also very nice.
In summary Lucia and Gabrielle couldn’t have been more helpful, they were fantastic from the moment we got there to the sad moment we had to leave. We would all definitely come back for a second time. Highly recommended.

Although we rented Villa Gloria, we were given an upgrade to Villa Ulivi at no extra charge. TheVilla was pure Tuscany but with all modern amenities. Four couples were accomodated very easily, and we never felt crowded. The Villa is on several acres of well-kept grounds that had a view that could only be described as spectacular. As an extra bonus, the Villas are located within easy walking distance of a 12th Century stone-walled city that is still functioning. We often enjoyed cappucino and pastries in the morning and returned for a gourmet dinner in the evening. The owners, the Zanetti family are great hosts. Lilly will cook for you at a reasonale price. Marcoa took us on our tours. He was knowledgeable and took us wehrever we wanted to go. We were even able to get a privage tour of an olive processing plant where we bought fresh extra virgin olive oil. We all had a great experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. In short, it was fabulous, and we are recommending it to all of our friends. If you want a great Tuscany experience at a fair price, this is it!

The owners were very kind and the property was beautiful - they prepared a meal for us with their own wines for no charge which was a highlight of the stay and were helpful and friendly in suggesting things to do.

However, we felt that there were a few things which didn't match the description for example the plunge pool was derelict/disused and there was no wifi in the property (only connection to internet via cable). We also had problems getting our heating to work as desired and the building was very cold. The tennis court was in playable condition for us but would not be for more serious tennis players.

We enjoyed our time at Col di Forche. it is a lovely property, but the place is definitely quirky. The lights frequently dim for no reason, you must turn off one set of lights in the kitchen if you use the oven or a fuse will blow, the TV is in the kitchen, where there is no comfortable seating. Not sure why it isn't in the living room. Although a Fireplace was listed in the dining room, we were not allowed to use it or any of the other fireplaces and it was very cold in the house. The heat, which we used sparingly because it was so expensive, did not really warm the place up. A fire would have been great. I think it's probably a good place to go in the summer but not in the spring. Don't recommend the place if you have a bad back as the road to it, while very picturesque, is very bumpy. And its about a 10 minute ride up that road. The villa itself is beautiful and, as I said, probably fine in the warmer months.
