This is a very special vacation destination. La Chiesina has been lovingly restored and transformed into an updated and fully functional villa. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean and fully equipped. Beds are comfortable and made up with high quality linens. The setting is exactly what you would want from a Tuscan vacation house - rolling Tuscan hills with vineyards and fields of sunflowers surrounding the grounds. The view (especially from the pool) is breathtaking. Private and quiet (except for occasional traffic from the adjoining road) and perfected located. Take a walk down the road and you'll see stunning views of San Gimignano (only a 15-minute drive away). Maria, the owner, was lovely. She cooked us a memorable Tuscan meal one night and helped us book some local activities including horseback riding. We are a family of four (two children ages 9 and 12) and had a truly wonderful experience at La Chiesina.

Most hospitable and helpfull welcome from the owners. Beautiful house in quiet,forest location tucked away off road. Spotlessly clean and well looked after property.

We were a group of 14 and have spent a perfect week here. The owner is very commmitted to making his guests comfortable. The cook he hired for the week has made our vacation evenings unforgettable. The dishes he prepared were varied and even the children tried everything. The villa has several kitchens but we actually used only the one in the poolhouse where we spent most of our time. It was rather hot beginning of August, so the beautiful and refreshing pool was our favorite place to be. The villa is very well kept and spacious. If you are sensitive to heat, it would be wise to inform about the aircondition in the rooms you would need to use. Fiona della Chiana is a nice town within walking distance and contrary to other area's in Tuscany, the roads to surrounding towns are rather wide. We would definitely recommend Villa Laura.

Very nice place, great view
We have been there with 11 people, so we used the house, the apartement and the pool house. House and apartement were very nice, the pool house was good, but not so nice as the other bedrooms in the house.
The pool area is nice, unfortunatelly there have not been enough chairs / deck chairs for all of us.
The dining area on the terassce was great!

Sehr schönes Feriendomizil, für mehrere Familien geradezu optimal. Mit vielen tollen Sitzplätzen in traumhafter Lage, schöner Aussicht, genialem Schwimmbad, Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder und sehr netter, unkomplizierter Gastgeberfamilie.
