This was by far our best experience in our entire trip in Italy. The villa was more than what we expected and my #1 requirement I looked for in all the places we stayed was for it to be cleaned and this place more than met that. The owners Claudia and Andre' were like family by the time we left. It's an experience I hope to have again in the near future. And the villa was very centrally located to a lot of places to drive to for day trips. Just a wonderful, wonderful place. Can't give it enough praise!

Great villa, owners were very helpful, excellent location. The only thing that could be a little better is the kitchen, not enough dishes, no mixer, quite poor service for the italian kitchen. All the rest is perfect!

We dare to say that Borgo Tollena is the best agriturismo in Tuscany. If you want to have the feeling of life in Tuscany, Borgo Tollena is the place. We stayed at unit Signorina Vittoria. The best. On the quiet side of the property. The only unit with an outside hiigh terrace with great views. Everybody needs to remember that Tollena is not an hotel, but you have all the necessary ameniities to enjoy Tuscany lifestyle.

Perfect location to explore Tuscany - particularly the Chianti region.
Well equipped kitchen
Beautiful scenic grounds
Shower was unpredictable and toilet plumbing ran continuously & was noisy throughout the night
Renters be advised that in addition to the advertised cost you will pay for gas usage when you leave which is "expensive gas" we paid 30 euros and only ran the heating for half an evening
Functional fire place looked nice but it was unusable as no kindling was provided

Vila was pretty much what we expected. The hydro/heat was not on when we arrived, the villa not as clean as we would have liked, and no basic supplies provided to warrant an excellent rating.
