We did not want to leave after 4 days. This place is a bit off the beaten path so you really get the feel of what it is to live in Tuscany under the Tuscan sun and live the slow life for a few days. Adriano and his wife Franca and their daughter Constanza are very special people. We met a retired couple who come back here every year and they have travelled all over Italy.

A special place. Spacious, bright, well set up with conveniences including a flat screen t.v., with some English channels, A lovely, modern kitchen, 2 full modern baths and decorated with charming antiques and interesting duck decoy collection. Although it was upstairs, we chose the tower bedrooms with arched and round windows with fabulous views of the old city. It felt like staying in a castle. The apartment is on the second floor, which gives views and privacy.
A nice outdoor sitting area - it fit well in the Siena atmosphere. From the villa we were close to Sienna and spent 4 days exploring the "caught in time" city. The duomo was the most beautiful we saw in all of Italy. Then we did a wine tour and 2 days of driving to Tuscan towns - always great food and wine.

We stayed in Tuscany for three nights and this apartment was ideal for both touring and relaxing. Its right on the edge of a little village so its a only a few minutes walk to the the restaurants (3), pizzeria, bar or gelateria. Plus, the town has a couple very small shops for necessities. The location is ideal for touring as its 30 minutes away from both San Gimignano and Sienna. We also hit up Colle De Val D'Elsa which is a fun little town. The unit itself isn't fancy but has everything you need and the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Another plus was the pool in the back. While we didn't swim, they have a very nice well maintained areas with a hammock and lounge chairs that we used for afternoon reading. The internet is another nice benefit. Finally there is a large parking private parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding street parking.
The only drawback we saw was that it there was some traffic noise during the day since the front of the apartment is adjacent to the small highway that runs through the village. This would only be an issue though if you were hanging out in the living room during the day or if you were trying to sleep in during the morning in the second bedroom which has the two single beds. Since there were only two of us and only used the master bedroom, it didn't affect us at all
Overall, we thought this apartment had the perfect feel for a Tuscany getaway and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Las habitaciones son amplias, pero se echa de menos un poco más de espacio en la zona del salón-cocina. La casa es agradable y la piscina es un rincón precioso. Bien ubicada para recorrer el sur de la Toscana e incluso acercarse a Perugia o Roma. Una buena experiencia.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The bedrooms are wide, perhaps some space is missing in the living/kitchen areas. The house is nice, and the pool is a lovely corner. Well located to tour the south of Tuscany, as well as the areas of Perugia and Rome. A good experience.
