Il Nido is a lovely property and Paolo a very helpful host. The property was well equipped and within walking dstance of the town and several restaurants. Lucca is about 50 mins by train and Pisa is about one and a half hours and it is an easy drive to Barga, Massa and Carrera. However Florence and Sienna would be a longer journey.
The practise of charging for final cleaning and the large deposit required we feel were a negative side of this property
