Low tide let me get an angle under the bridges and the light at sunrise gave it a great warm color. Camera info: Nikon D7000, 70-200f2.8, 1/4000@f3.2

Amazing how insignificant you feel looking out over Yosemite. The combination of sunlight and rain clouds rolling in added to the expansive feel. Camera info: Nikon D7000, 70-200 f2.8, 1/1250@f9

So many areas to explore in San Gimignano. This was in a small back courtyard of the Palazzo Comunale. Between the coats of arms, the stained and patched bricks and the door itself, you could almost hear the history.

We stayed in the second-tallest and only habitable tower in beautiful San Gimignano, Tuscany, on honeymoon. Ten flights of stairs, a room on each level, and stunning panoramic views from the roof terrace. Breathtaking in every sense. Photo shows me sitting at the top, taken from the town hall tower.
